Brazilian Art Fest
If you want to experience a touch of Brazil when you are in Barcelona, be sure to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art for the annual Brazilian Art Fest every February. This annual event celebrates not only the art of Spain, but also the art of Brazil.
Barcelona Poetry Festival
Every year, during the last weekend in May, poets from all over the country gather to celebrate the poetry of Barcelona. This is an event that is dedicated to the written word and features workshops, readings and verse. This event takes place throughout the city of Barcelona during this weekend and just about every where you look you will see verse. You can celebrate this annual event easily by just going out to a café as all of them participate in the annual poetry festival.
Palau de la Musica Catalana Concert Series
The annual concert series that takes place during the month of October at the Palau de la Musica is an event that any lover of classical music will not want to miss. This annual series showcases the best of Barcelona when it comes to classical music. You can also see international artists perform at this annual event, which occurs during October. If you are in Barcelona for October, be sure to take in one of the concerts that take place every Thursday though Sunday at the venue.
