This Ezine focus on practical questions for travelling in the European Union, as well as articles on places, events and theme travel, always with the focus on out-of-ordinary travel locations, and less mainstream tourist travel.
Our writers are freelancers, both from outside and from inside the European Union. If you are interested in writing for TravelEzine.EU, you should be interested in practical questions but also more fuzzy subjects as culture and lifestyle. The intersection between these topics is very much TravelEzine.EU in a nutshell!

Writer’s Guidelines
Two things you should do when considering to send us your material
- Read some articles (or photo stories) in TravelEzine.EU to ensure that your story fits into one of the sections.
- In the e-mail with your story, tell us about your background and the story you want to publish in TravelEzine.EU
We accept articles that are between 600 to 1,000 words. Generally, we publish two types of articles, guest articles and feature articles.
Photo Stories
These are usually shorter and describe a travel destination or activity, with the focus on photos from the location or activity. We want between 8-16 photos to show next to your text, which should be between 500-800 words. We want you to write it in first person (I saw.. As I walked.. etc). The photos should be 600×400 pixels. You give us the right to publish the photos alongside your photo story. You are free to watermark your photos before submitting them to us.
In return for letting us publish your photo story, text and photos, we offer a byline for the author where you are free to post a link to your travel business or portfolio.
Feature Articles
We publish two feature articles each month from freelancer writers. Feature articles receive more space and advertising on the TravelEzine.EU front page (for one month). After that it will be stored and accessible from the search function and the library of published articles.
A feature article should either be a reportage or an informative articles (with correct information) about places, travel events etcetera. The focus here is on depth of information, with at least two (2) fact boxes and three (3) photos.
In return we offer two banners (250×250 and 468×60) on the site for the duration of 30 days that are in effect advertisements for the article, with direct links to the feature reportage. The reportage also has a byline for the author where you are free to post a link to your travel business or portfolio. After the 30-day period the feature reportage remains in the article archive, but the banners are removed.
Rights
The person who submits the article must have full rights to the article, including reproduction rights if it has been published anywhere else. The person who submit an article assumes all responsibility for any copyright infringements.
The person who submits the photos or illustrations must have full rights to these, including reproduction rights if the photos or illustrations have been published anywhere else. The person who submit photos and illustrations assumes all responsibility for any copyright infringements.
Payment
We do not at this time offer payment for any submitted material. Instead we offer marketing opportunities with ads for contributors.
